UWC & ALA scholarships: online workshop for students from conflict areas

A free workshop on two fully or partly funded secondary-school opportunities, United World Colleges and the African Leadership Academy, with graduates, a current student and a UWC national committee member.

For many students whose education has been disrupted by war or conflict, continuing school can feel impossible. But the opportunities exist, and you have a right to know about them.

UWC and ALA are not only schools. They offer an international education, a global community, leadership development and new perspectives, and both are open to Sudanese students and young people from conflict-affected areas. Scholarships can cover major costs, depending on the program.

What the workshop covered

  • Experiences of students, graduates and selection coordinators
  • Who can apply and the eligibility requirements
  • How to apply and how to prepare
